Analysis of Magazine Ad - Nicki Minaj, Pink Friday Roman Reloaded
This Advertisement is more simple than the others I have looked at. The font is Big and Bold so it is eye catching and really stands out to a consumer. Nicki Minaj has placed herself in the centre of the advert, so your eye immediately gets drawn to her. She is wearing lots of vibrant colours such as bright pink and sky blue, this helped to play on her image at that time, of an over the top, wig wearing version of herself. There is little direct address in this advertisement, the two Nicki Minaj's in green are looking straight at the camera but they are the smallest feature on the poster, this could suggest that she doesn't think direct address is important when it comes to advertising. At the bottom, there is information on her record labels and a website URL, this allows people who want more information on her album can visit the website and it will give them details and most likely a link on where to buy it. The font used is sans-serif making the text seem more modern, this works especially well as the album is called 'roman reloaded' showing it is a more modern version of the previous album, 'Pink Friday'.
