For this task we each got a 20 second section of the video that we had to analyse. We have to recreate the first 1 minute and 15 of Jessie J's 'who's laughing now?'. This is a shot by shot storyline of her video, so we can follow it easier and get the video as accurate as we can.

Research
Research
- Strengths
- She has attempted to use different formats in her work
- She includes lots of pictures and fully explains them
- Her analysis is very detailed
- Weaknesses
- She lacks formats, it is mainly text with some photos
Planning
- Strengths
- She has written many detailed posts and has often written posts with her inspirations on and has made mood-boards
- She has used online programs such as polyvore or pintrest to create an ideal outfit for her music video
- Weaknesses
- There are some posts that could be more detailed, like her storyboard. She could have explained some of the shots
- Strengths
- The shots are obviously well thought out and very well put together
- The shots flowed together very well
- Weaknesses
- The lipsyncing seems slightly forced, not natural at all
- Strengths
- The digipak is very representative of real Lorde CD covers.
- Weaknesses
- The editing doesn't quite fit, the girl has very obviously been placed on the black background.

From looking at this blog, it has helped me to see what I have to do to make sure my blog is done to a high level. I have learnt that I need to include lots of different formats to make my blog more interesting and I need to keep all my work to a high standard, like this blog has done.

Analysis - what have you learnt from this process?
I have learnt that music videos usually use invisable editing to make it seem like the video is flowing well, I have also learnt that they have many shots in them, though some of these shots are very similar and would have likely have been filmed all in one take and just cut down and placed throughout the video. I have also learnt that most music videos, have a storyline behind them, though some have some dance parts to them, they are mostlt there to aid the storyline.
