Research- Strengths
- She has attempted to use different formats in her work
- She includes lots of pictures and fully explains them
- Her analysis is very detailed
- Weaknesses
- She lacks formats, it is mainly text with some photos
Planning
- Strengths
- She has written many detailed posts and has often written posts with her inspirations on and has made mood-boards
- She has used online programs such as polyvore or pintrest to create an ideal outfit for her music video
- Weaknesses
- There are some posts that could be more detailed, like her storyboard. She could have explained some of the shots
Music Video- Strengths
- The shots are obviously well thought out and very well put together
- The shots flowed together very well
- Weaknesses
- The lipsyncing seems slightly forced, not natural at all
Digipak- Strengths
- The digipak is very representative of real Lorde CD covers.
- Weaknesses
- The editing doesn't quite fit, the girl has very obviously been placed on the black background.
Magazine Advertisement
- Strengths
- The sans serif white font works very well for this magazine advert, it looks very modern and fits very well
- The advert looks quite realistic.
- Weaknesses
- The editing, much like the digipak, looks like the girl has been placed on the background and it doesn't look natural
Evaluation- Strengths
- Each evaluation is a different format making it much more interesting
- All evaluations are in great depth, very well analysed.
From looking at this blog, it has helped me to see what I have to do to make sure my blog is done to a high level. I have learnt that I need to include lots of different formats to make my blog more interesting and I need to keep all my work to a high standard, like this blog has done.
